About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Reporting Engineer Consultant specializing in Power BI to join our dynamic team. As a consultant, you will play a crucial role in transforming complex data sets into strategic insights, enabling our clients to make data-driven decisions. This position requires a deep understanding of data analysis, visualization, and dashboard development using Power BI.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into models and dashboards using Power BI.
- Design, build, and implement interactive reports and visualizations to provide actionable insights and facilitate informed decision-making.
- Develop and maintain complex Power BI data models, ensuring data accuracy, performance optimization, and scalability.
- Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes to integrate data from various sources into Power BI.
- Provide expert guidance and support to clients in leveraging Power BI tools to meet their business needs.
- Conduct training sessions and workshops to empower teams with the knowledge to use Power BI effectively.
- Stay updated with the latest Power BI features and industry trends to continuously enhance reporting capabilities.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Reporting Engineer or similar role, with a focus on Power BI.
- Strong proficiency in Power BI, including the development of complex dashboards, data modeling, and DAX queries.
- Excellent understanding of data warehousing concepts and database management.
- Solid experience in ETL processes and integrating data from various systems and sources.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in consulting or working with clients from various industries.
- Familiarity with other BI tools and technologies is a plus (e.g., Tableau, SQL, Azure).
- Relevant certifications in Power BI or related technologies.
