The agents would need to check that all pieces are received and that the seals are intact and match the manifest. The guards will also provide outbound services of picking up packages from local businesses or residences and delivering the package(s) to the UPS airport hub, where they will be placed on an airplane. If you have the capabilities, and would like to apply, you will need to complete an STA (security threat assessment) form. It must be emailed back to us with a copy of their driver's license, social security card and or passport. Those who will perform the courier work for our clients must complete this form as it is submitted for clearance through TSA which will give the guards the clearance they need to deliver packages to the UPS hub, where they will be placed on an airplane. Type of Coverage - Armed Security Guard. Preferred uniform for this work will be cargo pants with a polo shirt (preferrable black in color) and an unmarked personal vehicle. The agents will need to carry the following items: + Cutters (something to cut plastic seals (stronger than zip ties) + Extra shipping supplies in the event they are needed. These include and will be provided to you once you have been cleared through TSA: . Outer blue bag . Tamper bag . Red seal . Receipt . City Tag/pouch/zip tie Dates / Times - We're currently projecting the agents will need to work between 10-30 hours per week. The shipment arrival times, and number of shipments will vary each week. Pay Rate - $35.00 - $40.00 (all-inclusive) per hour as well as mileage reimbursement of .70/mile. **ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:** These duties are necessary to meet the minimum requirements of the position. Other duties may be assigned: + Must be licensed as an Armed Security Guard within your home state (if required in the state). + Must have a valid weapons permit for the state you reside in. + Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record. + Must be able to be on-call when the shipments come in. + Must be able to lift and carry up to 50lbs. **BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:** To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
