WordPress Web Developer Location Grand Prairie, TX :

This is a full time position, on-site in Grand Prairie, TX. Laguna Tools does not offer relocation assistance or sponsorships at this time. Only candidates in the DFW and surrounding areas will be considered.

JOB SUMMARY: We are seeking a skilled and motivated Web Developer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining our company website, ensuring its functionality and usability. This role offers the opportunity to work on exciting projects that contribute to our online presence and enhance the user experience for our customers.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and maintain company website using modern web development technologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement solutions.
• Optimize website performance for speed and responsiveness.
• Ensure website security and implement best practices for data protection.
• Conduct regular testing and troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues.
• Stay updated on emerging trends and technologies in web development.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Web Development, or related field.
• Demonstrated proficiency in designing and developing WordPress websites, including custom themes, plugins, and functionality to meet business objectives. Strong knowledge of WordPress best practices and optimization techniques.
• Extensive experience integrating HubSpot with WordPress websites, particularly focusing on lead forms, offer downloads, and other marketing CTAs. Proven ability to leverage HubSpot's features to drive lead generation and customer engagement.
• Ability to effectively manage critical data flows between HubSpot and Oracle NetSuite, ensuring seamless integration and data accuracy. Experience in configuring and customizing Oracle NetSuite to support business requirements.
• In-depth knowledge of SEO principles and techniques to improve website visibility and performance in search engine rankings. Experience in conducting keyword research, on-page optimization, and implementing SEO best practices.
• Extensive proficiency in current programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, C#, Ruby, Swift, etc.
• Hands-on experience in developing and managing WooCommerce websites, catering to both wholesale and direct customer needs. Proficient in setting up product catalogs, managing inventory, and implementing e-commerce solutions.
• Ability to assess and improve the user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design of the website. Experience in conducting user research, creating wireframes, and implementing UX/UI enhancements to enhance website usability and engagement.

PREFERRED SKILLS

• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite for effective communication and collaboration
• Ownership mentality, embracing the responsibilities of an individual contributor
• Experience with Monday.com for project management.
• Ability to report work progress and results effectively, contributing to company goals

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, scanners, filing cabinets and fax machines.
