JobSummary:
We are seeking a General and Vascular Certified Sonographer to join our mobile imaging team. This position involves traveling to various healthcare facilities including nursing homes, home care settings, correctional institutions, and diagnostic sites to perform ultrasound exams using portable imaging equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Self-dispatch or coordinate with dispatch to obtain daily case load and schedules.
• Arrive on-site promptly, ensuring exams begin at the start of the shift or within 30 minutes of leaving home.
• Transport, set up, and operate portable sonographic equipment in various clinical environments.
• Perform diagnostic ultrasound exams (general and vascular) and electronically transmit images for interpretation.
• Ensure accurate and complete order verification against the patient chart before proceeding with any exam.
• Properly identify patients using two unique identifiers (name and DOB); involve nursing staff for patient ID if necessary.
• Facility staff are responsible for all patient transfers, positioning, and physical support technologists are not to assist in this capacity.
• Respond to all urgent communications within 15 minutes during the shift.
• Maintain company-provided phone, uniform, and professional appearance at all times.
• Communicate professionally with internal departments (dispatch, supervisors, call center) and external clients.
• Ensure daily scanning and submission of paperwork/billing documentation.
• Maintain and report on vehicle and equipment condition.
• Participate in training, continuing education, and meetings as required.
• Serve as a mentor/trainer for other technologists as needed.

Requirements:

• Must be ARDMS RVT and RDMS certified or possess CCI RCIS credentials.
• Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Ultrasound Technology program.
• Experience with both general and vascular sonography is required.
• Valid driver's license in good standing (subject to periodic checks).
• Must comply with health and operational requirements including annual physicals, TB screenings, and infection control training.
• Must pass a background check and drug screening.
• Excellent communication, organization, and basic technical skills (smartphone and computer proficiency required).
• COVID-19 vaccination required, with exemption requests considered with proper documentation.
