Job Title: Senior Medical Coder – Urology
Location: Remote (must reside in Texas or Georgia)
Compensation & Schedule:
• $35/hour (Non-Certified), $39/hour (Certified)
• Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (1-hour meal break)
• W2, Temp-to-Hire
• Start Date: 11/24/2025
ROLE IMPACT: The Senior Specialty Coder - Urology supports billing integrity and compliance by delivering accurate ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-PCS, and CPT coding for outpatient and surgical urology services. This role ensures coding accuracy and efficiency, helping reduce backend claim errors and denials, and supports clinical documentation improvement in a fully remote setting.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Assign ICD-10-CM/PCS and CPT codes to inpatient and outpatient urology services following regulatory guidelines
• Validate documentation including admit orders and discharge dispositions
• Abstract coded data into the electronic medical records system
• Query providers for missing or unclear documentation
• Participate in audits, accuracy reviews, and departmental projects
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
• 2+ years’ coding experience in surgical and office-based urology
• Current AAPC or AHIMA certification required (CVC or CGSC preferred)
• Must reside in Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas, Georgia, or New Mexico
• High school diploma or equivalent required

• 95%+ audit accuracy in recent coding roles
• Experience in high-volume healthcare environments
