**Position Title:** **Field Safety & Equipment Trainer** **Location:** Henderson, CO (have construction sites all over Colorado) **Overview:** We're seeking an experienced heavy equipment operator with a passion for safety. This role combines hands-on training with field safety oversight and offers a path to grow into a Safety Manager position. **What You'll Do:** + Train operators on excavators, cranes, and other caisson-related equipment. + Conduct field safety inspections and document findings. + Lead toolbox talks, safety stand-downs, and new hire orientations. + Work with foremen and superintendents to correct unsafe behaviors. + Support incident investigations and ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, and company standards. **Qualifications:** + 5+ years operating heavy construction equipment (foundation drilling or power line work preferred). + Strong knowledge of lifting, rigging, and excavation safety. + Excellent communication and leadership skills. + Comfortable working outdoors in active construction environments. + Safety or training experience is a plus (we'll train the right person). **Pay:** $28-$32/hour (DOE) + benefits **Why Join Us:** + Transition into a long-term safety and training career while staying active in the field. + Family-owned company with stability and growth opportunities. + Work across the Western U.S. with a team that values loyalty and hard work. **Requirements:** + Reliable transportation and clean MVR. + Ability to lift heavy materials and work 10+ hour days in all weather conditions. + Knowledge of tools, materials, and safe jobsite practices. . **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Aurora, CO. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $32.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
