Akkodis is seeking a QA Lead for a Contract with a client in Charlotte NC, / Minneapolis, MN /Dallas, TX. You will define and implement test strategies while leading onshore and offshore teams to ensure quality standards.
Rate Range: $49/hour to $53/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
QA Lead job responsibilities include:
Lead QA efforts for onshore and offshore teams, ensuring adherence to best practices and quality standards.
Define and implement test strategies, plans, and automation frameworks to support project goals.
Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium, Cucumber, and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines.
Analyze test results, identify defects, and collaborate with development teams to resolve issues promptly.
Coordinate daily sync-ups with offshore teams, ensuring clear communication of priorities and requirements.
Maintain comprehensive test documentation and provide regular QA status updates to stakeholders, tracking key metrics like test coverage and defect density.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 6+ years in Quality Assurance, with at least 2 years in a lead role.
Strong hands-on experience with Selenium, Cucumber, and test automation using Java or Python.
Proven ability to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and work within Agile/Scrum environments.
