Queen’s Price Chopper – Bakery Clerk Position

Full-Time or Part-Time

The primary purpose of the Bakery Clerk is to create an outstanding customer experience through exceptional service. The Bakery Clerk should smile, greet, and be courteous to customers, work with management and all other associates to provide a high level of customer service. The Bakery Clerk will maintain and operate the bakery in an efficient manner. You will have a variety of tasks, working with many baked goods, and every day will bring new experiences and interactions.

Duties and Responsibilities :

• Provide amazing service to your shoppers and fellow teammates.
• Package products, sell fresh breads, desserts, and pastries.
• Handle food safely and keep everything fresh and clean.
• Observe all store rules and company policies.
• Maintain a neat, well-groomed personal appearance at all times and observe company dress regulations.
• Observe shift operating hours at all times as scheduled by the department manager.
• Display merchandise in an attractive, appealing, and neat manner.
• Maintain general housekeeping and sanitation standards in compliance with store policy and state and local health regulations on an ongoing basis.
• Comply with all safety policies and procedures.
• Able to exert or lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and exert or lift negligible amounts of weight often.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.

Position Requirements :

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or G.E.D equivalent preferred.
• Prior work experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to work flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
