Position Responsibilities:

Partner with Amazon’s business teams to achieve operational excellence, ensure compliance with laws and regulations, consider legal issues of first impression, and move strategic deals through to completion. Structure, draft, and negotiate commercial agreements, ranging from standard contracts to complex, high value agreements. Provide legal counsel and day-to-day input on contract interpretation to business team. Provide ongoing legal counseling in a wide range of legal areas, including intellectual property, technology development, and structuring, drafting, and negotiating complex technology development, licensing, and other commercial agreements. Resolve legal issues that arise in existing commercial relationships. Handle pre-litigation legal disputes and inquiries.

40 hours / week, 8:00am-5:00pm, Salary Range Salary Range: $169,300/year to $229,000/year year.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Position Requirements:

Must have four years of experience in the job offered or a related legal occupation. Must have four years of experience in the following skill(s): (1) experience with transactions at a national or international law firm; (2) drafting and reviewing commercial contracts; (3) reviewing laws and regulations and translating requirements to business teams; and (4) managing projects to completion, including working with legal professionals, business clients, and subject matter experts. License to practice law in the U.S. or a foreign jurisdiction required.#0000
