Hamlin House is a Florida-inspired social and racquet club redefining hospitality in Orlando’s SoDo neighborhood. Spanning more than 28,000 square feet of indoor–outdoor space, the club features premium pickleball courts, curated cultural experiences, and a vibrant food and beverage program led by Chef John Fraser and JF Restaurants. We’re seeking a strategic and hands-on Property General Manager to lead all facets of operations for our high-end restaurant.

About the Role

As General Manager, you’ll be responsible for the full operational and financial success of the restaurant, ensuring exceptional guest experiences while maintaining disciplined control over costs, staffing, and systems. You’ll work closely with ownership and culinary leadership to execute a seamless, high-level operation built on culture, consistency, and accountability.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, including service, training, finance, and compliance
• Develop, mentor, and empower management and hourly teams through structured training and clear performance expectations
• Implement efficient systems for scheduling, purchasing, inventory, and cost control
• Partner with the Executive Chef and Beverage Director to ensure quality, consistency, and alignment with concept vision
• Maintain operational readiness and cleanliness to luxury hospitality standards
• Analyze P&L statements, labor targets, and cost metrics to drive profitability
• Lead pre-shift meetings, performance reviews, and operational planning sessions
• Build a culture rooted in teamwork, accountability, and professional growth

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a General Manager or AGM in an upscale or fine-casual restaurant
• Proven ability to manage budgets, financials, and operational systems with precision
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Experience opening or scaling a concept is a plus
• Deep passion for hospitality and team development
• Comfortable balancing the energy of a social club environment with the polish of fine dining
