EMPLOYMENT LITIGATION ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY – MID TO SENIOR LEVEL

Our client, a leading AmLaw 100 national law firm , is seeking a talented mid-to-senior level Associate Attorney to join its thriving Employment Litigation Practice in Seattle . This is an exciting opportunity to work on sophisticated employment litigation matters within a collaborative team, serving major employers across industries.

Candidate Profile

• JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record
• Active Bar Admission in Washington State , in good standing, or ability to become barred promptly at start of employment
• 3+ years of substantive employment litigation experience
• Experience representing employers before federal and state courts
• Strong understanding of federal and Washington state employment laws and regulations
• Demonstrated ability to handle all aspects of complex litigation, including briefing , discovery , depositions , and motion practice
• Prior experience at a large Washington defense firm or a smaller boutique firm handling sophisticated employment matters
• Excellent writing, research, and oral advocacy skills, with strong attention to detail
• Collaborative mindset and a commitment to providing exceptional client service

Key Responsibilities

• Represent clients in employment-related litigation before federal and state courts
• Conduct factual investigations and manage complex discovery , including Electronically Stored Information (ESI)
• Take and defend depositions and participate in court hearings and settlement conferences
• Draft pleadings, substantive briefs, dispositive motions, and other litigation documents
• Support case strategy and collaborate closely with partners and senior attorneys
• Advise clients on litigation risk and provide proactive, business-focused counsel

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive Salary: Annual salary range of $225,000 – $330,000 , as determined by experience and market factors
