Primary Function
Responsible for the delivering and picking up of medications and supplies for patients of the Care New England Pharmacy in a timely manner while following the proper precautions for safety. Respect patients and their property while assisting them in a courteous and professional manner.
Responsibilities
Provides excellent customer service;
Identifies medications requiring special storage and/or handling such as hazardous medications and/or refrigerated medication: handles such medications with recognized requirements;
Delivers medications to patient homes, satellite distribution centers, other locations as needed in a timely manner;
Calling the patient to arrange for delivery or to notify of any delay in delivery;
Responsible for the logging of deliveries time and mileage;
Actively participates in process improvement initiatives;
Acts as a value-added business partner to stakeholders throughout the organization;
Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential;
Willing to do whatever is necessary for the betterment of the Company;
Performs all other related duties as assigned
Qualifications and Specifications
A High School diploma or equivalent or a higher education degree. A valid driver痴 license with an excellent driving record is required. Some computer knowledge is required.
