Job Description
We are looking for a Communications/Marketing Specialist who will own, implement and measure Central Powersports Distribution’s Social Media and Public Relations (PR) strategy. If you’re a tech-savvy community-builder with experience managing social media campaigns, press relations, and building brands, we want to talk to you. A working understanding of the motorcycle industry, specifically the offroad sector is a positive plus. Set and implement social media and press relations strategies which align to marketing goals. • Create engaging social media content for all channels including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and YouTube
• Respond to and engage with Central Powersports online community, report on feedback and online reviews
• Interact with third party agencies to develop campaigns driving high-visibility and customer growth
• Coordinate with other marketing team members from dealer network to ensure brand and message consistency
• Build relationships with customers, prospects, journalists, and industry professionals
• Assist with inbound link building through email outreach and communication
• Conduct journalist outreach to build brand mentions, and promote Central Powersports content and messaging
• Maintain and edit website design to keep business entity relative and modern
• SEO (Search Engine Optimization) skills or a eager willingness to learn. Our ideal candidate is: • Excited about working in a startup and passionate about changing the world
• Has experience with graphic arts design
• Has experience in digital marketing and social media (Instagram, facebook, youtube, other marketing channels)
• Has experience boosting posts and using paid methods to promote content
• Highly motivated and willing to take on major responsibilities
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced and challenging working environment
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
