The Clinical Quality Nurse Data Abstractor will be responsible for supporting desired patient outcomes and effectiveness of care, through ongoing analysis of health care information, quality measurement and identification of opportunities for improvement. The Clinical Effectiveness Nurse Data Abstractor supports the leadership team to achieve organizational excellence in clinical quality.
Reporting directly to the Director of Clinical Quality and Patient Safety, the Clinical Effectiveness Nurse Data Abstractor will oversee clinical quality data integrity, validity and reporting. The Clinical Quality Nurse Data Abstractor will collaborate with clinical teams by establishing effectiveness benchmarks, conducting analyses of internal and external outcome data and leading interpretation, review, as well as communication of results.
The Clinical Effectiveness Nurse Data Abstractor will assist the Director to develop a comprehensive clinical quality program by leveraging information technology for data acquisition, management, decision support and outcome reporting. The Clinical Quality Nurse Data Analyst will oversee the analytical assessment of patient care services using clinical decision support as well as information systems, and provides recommendations for improvement.
