What You Will Be Doing
• Forge meaningful connections with K-8 students as their mentor, building trust and cultivating a mindset that recognizes no limits to their potential
• Leverage cutting-edge AI and adaptive learning technologies to create personalized education pathways—guiding discovery while students advance at their optimal pace
• Create and deliver impactful life-skills workshops on essential competencies (public speaking, goal-setting, collaboration) that prepare students for success beyond academics
• Establish an environment where curiosity thrives, ambition is nurtured, and growth is expected—helping students identify and develop their unique strengths and interests

What You Won’t Be Doing
• Following rigid curricula or teaching standardized test material that limits student potential
• Spending hours grading papers or managing classroom discipline issues
• Delivering one-size-fits-all lectures that fail to engage diverse learning styles
• Working within traditional educational constraints that prioritize compliance over creativity
• Measuring success solely through standardized metrics rather than authentic student growth

Basic Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in any field of study
• Exceptional public speaking abilities with proven capacity to captivate and energize diverse audiences
• Genuine passion for connecting with, inspiring, and motivating K-8th grade students
• Minimum 3 years of experience coaching or mentoring children in educational or developmental settings
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
• Commitment to work in-person at either our Phoenix or Austin campus
• Availability to participate in our paid training program at the Austin, TX campus

Working with us
This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $50 USD/hour, which equates to $100,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
