ROLE IMPACT
The Asset Management Senior Analyst supports the client’s Asset Management Department by ensuring accurate, compliant, and timely management of fixed assets in accordance with GAAP. This position maintains the integrity of the fixed asset ledger, performs reconciliations, and provides reporting visibility for capital investments and depreciation activity. Success in this role is defined by precise record-keeping, cross-departmental collaboration, and continuous process improvement within the asset accounting lifecycle.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Maintain and reconcile the fixed asset register, ensuring accuracy of acquisitions, transfers, and disposals within SAP ERP.
• Perform regular asset valuations, depreciation runs, and journal entries to support period-end close.
• Prepare and review fixed asset schedules, reconciliations, and reports for management and audit.
• Support quarterly and annual asset confirmation activities while ensuring compliance with corporate policies and GAAP.
• Partner with finance, procurement, and operations teams to improve asset tracking, budgeting, and reporting efficiency.
• Develop and implement process improvements for asset management and lease accounting systems.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
• 4+ years of experience in fixed asset accounting and management.
• Hands-on experience with SAP ERP systems.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Proven ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and maintain high accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
PREFERRED SKILLS
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
• Prior experience in the automotive or manufacturing industry.
