Job Description

Salary: $90,000 - 130,000 per year Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst with expertise in Aladdin (mandatory)
• Strong knowledge of Private Capital/Private Markets (e.g., Private Equity, Venture Capital, Real Assets, Private Credit)
• Familiarity with the investment lifecycle, including trade workflows, compliance, risk management, and reporting
• Proficient in data analysis, SQL, and advanced Excel
• Capability to convert business requirements into technical specifications
• Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills
• Prior experience in asset management, private equity, or investment operations preferred
• Experience with BlackRock Solutions or Aladdin implementation teams is a plus
• Understanding of IBOR/ABOR processes and knowledge of alternative investment accounting or fund structures

• Collaborate with investment teams, private capital groups, operations, and technology stakeholders to gather and document business requirements
• Support front-to-back Aladdin processes including order management, portfolio modeling, compliance, risk assessment, and reporting
• Focus on Private Capital workflows such as capital calls, distributions, fund structures, valuations, and management of private asset data
• Analyze and map data related to private investments, positions, transactions, and market information
• Lead enhancements, modifications, and new module implementations within the Aladdin platform
• Troubleshoot system issues and liaise with BlackRock Solutions to ensure resolution
• Prepare Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), functional specifications, process flows, and user documentation
• Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT), regression testing, and assist with production releases
• Identify inefficiencies in processes and propose improvements to streamline investment workflows
• Provide ongoing assistance and training to end-users
